Do You Hear What I Hear

James' breathing has improved tremendously according to Dr. Chase. We are to continue the breathing treatments. But, while he was checking, Dr. Chase found a double ear infection. So, James is now on medication for that. Even though I am sure he feels bad, James is still acting like his happy self, cooing and gooing. Tomorrow is the youth halloween party. You will see some great pictures of us as a family, salt, battery, lobster and all. Interesting, you say...what do they have in common? You'll have to stay tuned. Peace out.

I Don't Get Around Much Anymore

Here we are with our friends. Well, we don't feel good and we are tired. But, hopefully we will start feeling better. The doctor put James on a breathing treatment cause he is congested/coughing/wheezing. James isn't acting unhappy, he is just showing symptoms. His little breating mask is a fish face. Kinda cute if he didn't fight us so hard to do the treatments. I will update as soon as I know more info. It was good to see Knoxvegas peeps this weekend. Way to go Andrew! James' Uncle Andrew scored his first touchdown. We loved it!

I'm a Big Kid Now

So James is two months old now. He went to the doctor and got his first set of vaccinations. He cried and then continued crying b/c he was hungry. James weighs 11.5 lbs and is 21.5 inches long. That puts him in the 50th percentile of weight and the 10th percentile of length. So he is going to be short and fat, oh well! In this picture you see that he is developing his sense of current events at a young age. He enjoys looking at the newspaper with his daddy! Yesterday James, Adam and I went to Covington to visit the Buns family. Little Eli Buns is one month old. He and James had a great play-date sleeping near each other. We are all off to Knoxville tomorrow. We will be visiting everyone there for a little while. That is it for us. Love to all. Go CATS beat Florida!

Candy Rain

James went to the cardiologist and since he is still gaining weight and thriving there is nothing happening on that front. We go back to the cardiologist in two months. At six months we do another echocardiogram to see how big the murmur is. He gained almost 3 pounds in a month and is up to 11 lbs 3 oz. Next week we are both on fall break and will be spending most of our time showing our little guy off to people who have yet to see him.

it's my party I can cry if I want to

Check out Baby James and his girlfriend, MacKenzie. At the party he was making eyes at her from across the table. What a flirt. James just wishes he had a mini mohawk like MacKenzie. He is still sporting the old man hair-do...growing around the sides and the back. None on top!

I'm a Big Kid Now

Look at how much I have grown! My Mommy is just amazed and she can't wait to see how much I weigh at my next doctor's appointment on Friday. I'll tell her to put it in her blog post.

monday, monday

Well, it is Monday. James and I survived our first week of school. Everyone at his daycare said how cute and sweet he was and then added how gassy he can be. Yes, I know this information. I have smelled it. So, I am at home this week, hoping to get caught up on housework and making dinner and getting a haircut. James will be going to the daycare a couple days this week to help me get some of these things accomplished. Adam gets observed for the second time on Wed. I believe this is the last in-person time he is observed and now he has to video record a lesson and self-assess and then turn it in. He has been spending many a spare moment reading or finding info. Just a reminder, James' baby dedication is on Sunday October 28th at 10:30 in the morning. Adam ordination service is a 6pm that evening. I believe that is it for us. This picture is a perfect example of how cousing Lillie loves her James!

go back to high school...

Our first day of school! We survived with minimal tears, at least on his part. Actually he only cried when I picked him up. (it was time to eat) My 45 min drive helped me get dried up. Then the craziness that ensued at school kept my mind busy. So, we did it. We are both home and happy. Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts, I needed them badly. Peace out. BTW, please vote on our poll.
