My tree is up. I am having a little bit of trouble keeping my hands off of it. The pretty icicles are just perfect for me. Good thing that Mommy and Gigi didn't put any breakable ornaments up. Mommy is just trying to figure out when she can put the presents under the tree and I won't open them. Ha-ha! I'll just keep her guessing.

I simply love to explore my world. If there is something new to try or climb on, I will get to it soon. It makes my mommy nervous but since I got my first good bump out of the way, she'll probably relax.

so, my mommy and i danced at the wedding on saturday night. we had a great time and i really loved the cake. way to go uncle john! you can make me a cake any time you want. keep posted for more pics of the big night!

so my mommy dressed me up in this three piece suit. all the girls were going crazy about me, as usual. i didn't see what the big deal was, it really wasn't all that comfortable. my mommy thought that my daddy looked pretty good in his tux. i probably looked a little better, but don't tell him that. mommy said that we have more pics of me she is planning on posting.

I like it when mommy makes the noises of the animals. speaking of animals. i have been playing with my bath animals that my friend eli got me. guess which one is my favorite! you guesses it...the piggy! why is no one suprised? oh well.

rufus and eleanor roosevelt-what a pair. I love my puppies. They keep me enterained when they wrestle and play tug-o-war. Maybe one day soon I will be running and wrestling right along with them.

It's true. I love getting in refrigerators. All that food right at my fingertips! nmnmnmnmnm! Mommy and I are going to Lexington today to finish getting stuff for aunt Kelley and uncle Jonathan's wedding shower. We are also getting Eleanor her own crate. Daddy is tired of having two dogs in the bed! Since he isn't getting much sleep, he doesn't want furballs wrestling in the bed. I am excited about Labor Day. Mommy and Daddy are off from school. Maybe there will be a bbq somewhere and I can eat lots of food from the grill. Who know! Peace out.

Anything you can do, i can do better

oh yes! it is true! i can feed myself. it ain't pretty, and it ain't neat or clean but it gets the job done. my favorite thing to eat is ravioli but really i am not picky. if anyone close to me has food, i give a little num-num and smack my lips. if someone is within crawling or climbing distance, i just go after the food myself. can't wait till my birthday party when i get to dig into my cake!

you raise me up

Hello down there. I have been busy playing in the backyard with my animal friends. I don't really like the feel of grass on my feet and usually only put one foot down at a time. Well, less than a month till my 1st birthday. I had some pics taken with the fam on my Mommy and Daddy's anniversary. I didn't really want to smile but we got some good pics anyhoo. My new girlfriend Izabella was born today. She is so pretty and tiny. I can't wait to show you all a picture of her.

I am just chillin and cruisin around town. My ears seem to be feeling better and I actually took an hour nap at home today. It is a miracle!!!! Mommy had the chance to clean a little, pay some bills and post this blurb. Did you all know that Mommy and Daddy's anniversary is this week? It is Thursday. I'm Doin Fine Now

Yes, I am doing very well now. I got the tubes put into my ears this morning at 7:45. I cried from 7:25 on cause I was so hungry. The procedure lasted about 8-10 minutes and I woke up no problem. I was getting all sorts of lovin from all the nurses in the recovery room when my mommy and daddy came to get me. I was very glad to have a bottle. Then we stopped at panera and I ate lots of my daddy's egg souffle. I definately enjoy eating! So, this is a picture of my post-ear tubes and I am a-ok. Acutally they told my mommy that I would be drowsy and probably sleep awhile. HA! They don't know me. I have been running around and yelling and saying uh-oh. I have even been giving kisses! Ok, that is it for now.

We are Family

This is probably the only picture anyone will ever see with all of my animals and me. Pumpkin, Rufus and Herman were all just posed perfectly. Of course, Pumpkin took off after the picture was taken because I was going after him and growling. You know how it goes. So, Daddy has been gone all week for training and he is coming home today. I am so excited; my schedule has been very off this week. My aunt Kristy has been here helping take care of me. She is fun. Well, that is it for me. Peace.

That's me in the bib, in case you couldn't tell. My Grams is so young looking I am hard to see. Well, I am having tubes put in my ears next Wednesday the 2nd of July. I watched a very informative video with my mommy and aunt kristy at the ENT's office today. I am the youngest one getting tubes put in that day so I should be the first one up. So, I need to give a shout out to Nana. She had surgery last Friday and is having another one I think on Wednesday. I hope she feels better soon. We will try to go see her again probably tomorrow. We love you Nana!!! Okay, I think that is it. Peace.

Long Time Gone

Sorry it has taken my mommy so long to get a new posting up. She has been busy having three interviews and getting ready for VBS. You know she is the director this year. I think she has it almost all ready but there are still a few details she has to finish, like decorating. I would help but really I like to chew on everything too much to be of much help. This picture was taken at my first day in the pool. I love the pool. Too bad Mommy has been too busy to take me any more. I have two different pairs of swim shorts; I am really a stylish kind guy. Oh, guess what. I have another ear infection. So, I am going to an ENT on Monday at 9:15am. They think that I need to have tubes put into my ears. We'll see. Daddy is going to be gone all next week to Western Kentucky University. He has to go stay in a dorm and go to training to be able to teach those AP European History classes this fall. We will really miss him. Who knows what kind of trouble Mommy and I can get into. We'll keep you updated. FYI, Mommy is supposed to find out about the job she really really wants by Friday. Nobody knows the trouble I've seen

Yes, it is official. I have been fussy for the past three days. The I-am-not-going-to-be-happy-no-matter-what kind of fussy. I will even be super sleepy but still fight and cry forever. Mommy thinks it has to do with my top two teeth coming in. They have both broken through but are still moving out. Anyway, I can't believe that I am almost a whole year old. It seems like just yesterday I was just a little jaundiced mite baking in the special light suitcase and weighing only about 6lbs. Now I weigh about 21lbs and just have a really nice tan. By the way, Mommy has two interviews on Thursday of this week. She is interviewing in the morning for a position at Elkhorn Middle School in Franklin Co and a Developmental Delay Consultant at Wright Elementary School in Shelby Co in the afternoon. Pray that they go well! Peace out, y'all!

End of the Road

Yes, it is that time. Mommy's last day at school. She took me and I got to play with Granny Anne and Aunti Beth. They even laughed when I made my Linda Blair-esque growl. I am just loving life and trying to get into everything. I love to play with magazines and mail. I also love to chase pumpkin. Rufus just licks me to death. That's it for now. C-ya soon. Peace.

The hills are alive

Well, my time at Eminence has come to an end. Tonight my 8th graders graduated. Tomorrow is the last day with the kids. There are quite a few I will miss and there are quite a few I will not miss at all. But, all have helped me become a better or more patient teacher. I have to thank God that I could keep going! I am pretty sad but I know it is time to leave. On a happier note, James now has three teeth: two on the bottom and one of the top. I will work on getting a good toothy grin from the little guy. He is crawling all over the place and chasing the cat like crazy. Pumpkin isn't too thrilled. James has his first tattoo thanks to little Reagan. Don't wory, it isn't real. It is a cross VBS written on it. It looks good! hahaha. Okay, enough. I am going to bed. Tomorrow is going to be an emotional day. The 8th graders are throwing me a suprise party that is very obvious. I am just going to cry!

Summer Lovin'

Well, our summer has begun and I love it! If the pool water wasn't so chilly, I would have been in it today. Soon, I will become a water baby. Don't worry, I had sunscreen on today. Mommy and Daddy are really careful about it.

Why do you fill me up, buttercup?

My Aunt Kelley is my favorite when it comes to sitting at the table. She lets me drink all the water from the glass. She even helps me with the straw. I sure do love her. I had my 9mo dr's appt this week. I weigh over 20lbs but am a shorty for my age. My head size keeps inching up there; it is almost at the 75%. I guess I just need a big noggin for all the brain up there. Mommy is babyproofing the house this weekend. Plus, it is my Gigi's birthday. I think she is like 36 or something. Peace out.
