Namesake

Tomorrow the 31st is a special day. Daryl Hyatt, James' Papaw, passed away six years ago on this day. To honor him, we suggest that everyone book a skin cancer screening and everyone take a moment to reflect on your spiritual walk. We believe as Daryl did that you must have a personal relationship with God to go to Heaven when you pass. If you have questions about who God is or how to have a personal relationship with Him, please ask. Even when he was suffering Daryl was not overtaken by anxiety, instead he prayed this prayer that our minister of music made into a song.

When Hard Times Come

O Lord, when hard times come

Help us turn and seek Your face.

O Lord, when hard times come

Helps us learn to trust Your grace.

Lord, You are My Rock and my Salvation.

You're my Refuge and Strength in times of need.

Lord, Your power is perfect in my weakness

and Your grace is sufficient for me.

-Daryl Hyatt

James thanks you for taking a moment to reflect on matters that were important to his Papaw and important for his family. In addition, if you have the chance, please pray for peace for Diana, Adam, April and the family.

James' Papaw is gone but never forgotten. I am always reminded that Daryl set the example of being a man with God by being who he was. Daryl's had some what of a good Papaw as well. A simple man of common sense who loved children was the grandfather we were blessed with. James' Papaw is always with me because of the example he set.
