Aunt Peg came to visit. We had a great time at Gram's house. Cousin Lil entertained us. I am going to the doctor tomorrow to see if the antibiotic made my ear infection go away. We'll let you know what happens.

Yes, I am cute. I went all polo this day with plaid shorts and a sweater vest. I enjoyed my preppy look. Well, I have another ear infection. It is the 4th or 5th one in the left ear. I am on another round of antibiotics. Hopefully this will clear it up. If not, I will probably have to have tubes put in. The good news is that I am much less fussy now. THank GOodness! I love you all!

Let the Sunshine in!

As you can see, I am a sunshine kinda guy. Don't worry everyone, I was wearing spf 30. I look pretty good in Uncle Jeremy's shades. I had to try to figure out how they work. My appt with the pulminologist went well. I will keep doing the flovent inhaler at least until my birthday. Maybe they will take me off of it then. But, I weigh 19lbs 5oz and am 27.5 in long. All my mommy and daddy know is that it is almost impossible to get any kind of tshirt over my big noggin. Only if it has snap can it fit. Oh well. Let's see what else is happening. I went to the park for the first time and swang in a swing by myself. I mainly watched all the other kids running around the park including my cousin Lillie. I am eating a lot; I am also starting to get used to the mushed up people food. I really like mashed taters and was okay with some pork chop. But, I like the smooth baby food best cause I can suck it down quick. My mommy had to get me a new bigger bathtub. I was starting to get too big for my other one. I think that is it for now. Both mommy and daddy are still looking for jobs. No postings as of yet!

I hold out my hand and I touch love

Don't worry, I am strapped in. But...I can touch the table and I really enjoy that. Mommy and Daddy had to move my tray cause it had tons of toast crumbs on it. I have started eating table food. I have had success with mashed taters, cooked carrots and smashed peas. I am such a big guy!

workin' the for weekend!

Well, we started finger foods. Last night we began our journey into self-feeding with zwiebeck toast. James took about 1 minute to figure out what to do with the toast but from there he was all over it. The only problem he ran into was when the piece of toast was small enough to fit completely in his hand, he didn't know how to get it into his mouth. So, he spent some time just gumming his hand. Overall, though, he really enjoyed the first attempt at finger goods. Still no teeth!
