doctor, doctor, tell me the news

Jamie went to the dr's on Fri for a follow-up from the hospital visit. We saw Dr. Blair and he confirmed for us that Jamie doesn't sound any better. Since he doesn't know what else to do, he is passing the buck to a pediatric pulmonologist? (lung specialist) up at uk in lexington. Dr. Conga had to do surgery on Dr. Blair's son many moons ago and Dr. Blair thinks he is awesome. So, Dr. Blair put in a phone call to Dr. Conga and when Dr. Conga called back he found out that Dr. Conga is going to Australia for 3 weeks to present. But, Dr. conga didn't want Jamie to wait that long w/o being seen so he is going to have an appointment this week with one of the partners. On one hand I am glad that we are getting in so soon. On the other hand it makes it seem like Jamie's issues are a little more serious that he can't wait three weeks. Anyhoo, they are supposed to call us and let us know. Dr. Conga is in the same practice as Jamie's cariologist. So, for now, we are still doing breathing treatments every 4 hours, using the super special formula and treating his reflux by elevating the bed, etc etc. We really just want to know what is wrong with Jamie. He has started crying for no apparent reason. It makes me think he is hurting somehow and we can't figure it out. Maybe after the visit with the specialist we can make it better. On another note, Adam took a praxis exam Saturday. It is the teaching certification exam that all peeps have to take. I believe it was based on teaching secondary education, grades 8-12. He thinks he did ok. He should hear back at the new year. I think that is it for us. Peace out.
